RedWind Closes 28th project Located in Kentucky

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – RedWind Renewables, a prominent utility-scale renewable energy developer, has closed its 28th project, located in Lawrence and Martin Counties, Kentucky, further strengthening its growing U.S. renewable energy portfolio.

The project reflects RedWind’s disciplined origination strategy, combining strong site fundamentals with strategic infrastructure access, and long-term value creation. Positioned to advance efficiently through development, the project benefits from:

  • Over 800 acres of buildable land, featuring favorable topography and secured land agreements that support streamlined execution.
  • Access to a 138 kV transmission line and PJM, providing an expected cost-efficient and bankable interconnection pathway.
  • Multiple revenue streams, including energy, capacity, and potential SREC markets, are further supported by a well-structured development profile and eligibility for key federal incentives.

This milestone strengthens RedWind Renewables’ position as a trusted development partner of utility-scale renewable energy projects, underscoring its commitment to scalable growth, strong partnerships, and disciplined execution.
