Daniel Rustowicz
Chief Executive Officer
As the Chief Executive Officer at RedWind Renewables, LLC, Daniel E. Rustowicz brings over twenty years of unparalleled expertise and experience in the renewable energy space.
A proven leader, Mr. Rustowicz has developed, marketed and sold twenty (20) utility scale wind and solar projects across the USA since November of 2017, and held the distinction of Team Leader, for John Deere’s Wind Energy Initiative in Corporate Business Development back in 2003, which was sold to Exelon for close to $1B representing one of his many pinnacles of success in the renewables space.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with All College Honors Distinction from Canisius College. Further he received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business after spending five years with Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Rustowicz is a CPA, inactive in the State of New York, as well as an Eagle Scout. Mr. Rustowicz is a Father to three children whom he helped raise primarily as a single parent.
Ginger Crandall
Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Ginger’s commitment to sustainable development makes her an invaluable asset in the pursuit of a greener future.
With over two decades of experience in sales and strategic partnerships, Ginger brings a wealth of expertise to RedWind Renewables. Her extensive background in telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture, high tech, and retail provides a diverse and valuable perspective.
Ginger excels at engaging stakeholders and fostering sustainable solutions. Her strategic mindset drives initiatives that enhance market presence and align seamlessly with RedWind’s mission to advance clean energy. Whether managing high-impact projects or cultivating client relationships, Ginger’s unwavering dedication to excellence consistently shines through.
As a proud University of Minnesota alumna and native Minnesotan, Ginger champions clean energy while staying deeply connected to her local community. As a mother to a grown daughter and son, she understands the importance of leaving a positive legacy for future generations.
Roger Owens
Landowner Relations Manager
As the Landowner Relations Manager at Redwind Renewables, Roger is dedicated to advancing renewable energy and building strong partnerships with landowners to support sustainable progress.
With more than 40 years experience in sales, agriculture and transportation, Roger brings a well-rounded perspective and expertise in managing landowner relationships and facilitating renewable energy projects. His previous management and customer relation skills helps him excel at his job. His ability to build trust and navigate complex initiatives ensures the successful integration of clean energy solutions.
Roger is a native of Kentucky. Roger combines his professional expertise with a deep connection to the community. Beyond work, he values time with his family and is actively involved in his church and local organizations. His passion for service and sustainability drives his commitment to leaving a lasting impact for future generations.
Cheyenne Morrissey
Development Manager
Cheyenne serves as Development Manager at RedWind Renewables, where she drives new opportunities and supports the growth of solar, wind, and battery storage projects across the Midwest and beyond. She focuses on landowner prospecting and negotiations, Right of Way (RoW) pursuits, and business development to bring projects from concept to reality.
She brings a strong background in real estate investment and renewable energy development, with experience spanning feasibility analysis, site acquisition, permitting, and stakeholder engagement. Cheyenne also draws on skills in financial modeling, GIS analysis, and risk assessment to evaluate opportunities and support sound investment decisions.
In addition, Cheyenne partners closely with RedWind’s CEO to engage investors and secure new sources of capital. By combining technical expertise with relationship-driven development, she helps deliver projects that create value for landowners, provide confidence for investors, and expand access to clean energy across the region. Her current focus includes advancing projects in Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, and other Midwest markets.
Preston Perrill
Associate Intern
Preston contributes to the team with a focus on data-driven innovation, applying his developing expertise in Python, R, SQL, and project management to help streamline processes and support strategic decision-making.
Before joining RedWind, Preston gained hands-on leadership experience in operations, customer service, and education—including managing teams at Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge and supporting curriculum as a teaching assistant. His strong communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments make him a valued team member.
He’s currently pursuing a B.S. in Statistics with a Computer Science minor at the University of Minnesota, where he’s earned Dean’s List honors and competes on the Club Tennis Team. He’s also completed Google Cloud coursework in AI and Machine Learning, expanding his technical toolkit in alignment with industry trends.
Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Preston enjoys racquet sports, weight training, and running. A two-time DECA national qualifier and state champion in both tennis and table tennis, he brings a competitive edge and a drive for continuous growth to everything he does.

Chester is the Official Mascot of RedWind Renewables, and has been with the company a little over two years. His positive attitude is prevalent every minute of the day, as evidenced by his never-ending tail-wagging and big smile!
